    Using Manipulatives

    A manipulative is the practical maths apparatus that is used in deepen the children's understanding. They are equipment that children can pick up and manipulate. Below are examples of manipulative we use at school. However, at home you can use: buttons, pasta, coins, toys, pegs etc.
