Leesons SEN Philosophy

Leesons is an inclusive school that aims to develop each and every child to their full potential so they are able to make the best possible progress and become a valued member not only of the school but of the wider school community.   As standard our lessons are tailored and our practices are reasonably adjusted so that the needs of all of the children are met to facilitate learning.

At Leesons we believe:

  • All children have the right to a differentiated, broad and exciting curriculum that is accessible to all.
  • All children are valued and enabled to fulfil their potential through effective teaching and a supporting and encouraging environment.
  • Effective assessment and provision for children with SEN is achieved through collaborative working with parents/carers, children, the Local Educational Authority and relevant external agencies.

Our SENCO is Mrs Burdett who is responsible for supporting children with additional needs.  If you have an issue regarding your child, please contact her via  the school office 01689 602786 or email admin@leesons.bromley.sch.uk
