Learning outside the classroom
In Cherry class, we recognise the value of the outdoor environment and it's capacity to engage, inspire, motivate, develop and empower our children to become life long learners. We love to use the outdoor environment as a second classroom and have found that a number of key skills can be acquired: resilience, independence, critical thinking, perseverance and problem solving.
We have just had a great sports day that has shown how well the children are coming on with teamwork. They also coped really well on a very hot day!
