Apple and Mulberry Class (EYFS)
Welcome to Apple & Mulberry Classes!
At Leesons we have two Reception classes, Apple and Mulberry. In Apple Class our Class Teacher is Miss Maple and in Mulberry Class our Class Teachers are Mrs Regan and Mrs Dobbs. The Teaching Assistants working across the EYFS team are Mrs Bryant, Mrs Speller and Mrs Wharf.

Each half term the children learn about a new and exciting topic based around their interests. Please see our long and medium term plan to find out more. We also go on a trip each half term or have visitors into the school to bring the topic alive.
The learning in Reception at Leesons is both adult directed and child initiated. This ensures the children are given the tools and understanding to learn and investigate independently.
We believe in Reception that it is incredibly important to form positive relationships with both the children and their parents. This is the reason we have continuous contact with parents through ‘Class Dojo’, we are available to speak to at the end of each day, we hold 2 parents evenings and do home visits at the start of the year.Please visit our Class Photo Galleries to see more photos of our children learning.
