Welcome to the Jungle

In science this term, we have been focusing on the topic, 'Evolution and Inheritance.' In order to get to grips with this tricky concept, we invited the company 'Zoolab' into school and they brought with them a number of interesting creatures: tarantulas, Dumbo Rats, African Bullfrogs, Giant African Land Snails, Corn Snakes and giant millipedes. During this time, we acquired lots of interesting facts about each animal, particularly how they have evolved and adapted over time. We even got to watch them roam around our classroom, luckily we didn't lose any under the classroom cupboards!
